PPD vs QuantiFERON

As shelter-in-place rules ease, business reopening plans aim to prioritize employee health and safety. That’s why many employers are turning to antibody blood tests, which identify individuals who developed antibodies through previous exposure.

Understandably, testing for antibodies represents a critical first step toward returning employees to work and resuming ‘business as usual.’

Mobile Health offers antibody (IgG) testing at four New York City locations, with results delivered in only a few days:

  • Manhattan: 229 West 36th Street
  • Brooklyn: 50 Court Street
  • Bronx: 2488 Grand Concourse
  • Queens: 97-77 Queens Boulevard

Mobile Health recommends this testing for employees needing clearance to return to work or for ‘re-entry.’  The BioReference Laboratories antibody test we offer is FDA-cleared. Also, the test has a true positive rate of 97.6 percent, with less than .7 percent false-positive reported.

Based on early evidence, IgG antibodies appear elevated in the majority of patients by 14 days after symptoms appear. Importantly, the antibody test does not indicate immunity to the virus or active infection levels. Read our Test FAQs.

We continue to expand our testing effort nationally. Our Client Portal expedites scheduling and results retrieval. New customers may contact us to set up an account.
